Dustin Under Fire

I really wish we’d get some info on The Song of Names. Nothing has come up about the film in more than two years. And the only news lately about Dustin (besides Quartet) is kind of bad news:

 Here

From what I’ve always read, Dustin has always been pretty proud of his Jewish-ness, if you can call it that, so maybe things are mixed up…I don’t know…
And Dustin was on The Today Show! When did this happen???

Oscars

Dustin was at the Academy Awards last night. He even got to present an award!

Also, a guy emailed me and told me about how he interviewed Dustin and how he thought I should post it on here. That was some time ago, but here they are:

Even MORE news

*snort* WHAT???

I just read this in the library at one of the computers...I literally grabbed my heard forward, signed and the lady next to me looked at me like I was having a seizure. Daniel Radcliffe should go out with ME!!! What about me, Dustin?? I'm short...
Anyways, because I'm the worst website builder in the world, you better not rely on me to update much, since you know I'm not good at it. A lot of things are coming out because of Quartet. Lots of news, lots of articles, lots of videos, etc. Googles news is the thing the helps me when I'm looking for something new. Here are some easily found things:

News

The Kennedy Center honors seemed to have been on TV quicker than I thought. They aired December 26th...

These liberals, really...

I feel like American actors say stuff like this all the time, but how many European TV shows, movies, or songs are running here vs American ones running there? I'm sorry, I'm a huge patriot, you'll have to suffer through that...

And Daniel Radcliffe wants to be like...Dustin??

"The person I've been looking at is Dustin Hoffman. In fact, I passed him the other day and he is absolutely on the shorter side, as am I. But he was in all those great roles, from action thrillers to romantic stuff. So there is a way of doing it unconventionally if you don't necessarily look like the 6ft romantic lead."

I'm sorry, that was just...really out of the blue.

Updates

Man, I feel the need to always apologize when I'm late on updates. Sorry about that. I'll be honest with you...I've just been lazy. So I'll try to focus on the site more, upload more pictures, interviews, etc because...personal promise and all!
Dustin did an interview with BAFTA...and cried.

I don't know why, but for some reason that's really inspiring to me. Keep an eye out for Dec 2 when Dustin receives his award by President Obama! I'll update more things here!

2012 Kennedy Center Honors

Dustin's been awarded the nation's highest honor for influencing American culture!

"Years after playing a Washington newspaper reporter, Dustin Hoffman is returning to the nation’s capital to share an honor with David Letterman – who appears surprised at how culturally important his Top 10 lists have been. The actor and comedian are among seven people who will receive the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors, the performing arts center announced Wednesday. They join Chicago bluesman Buddy Guy, the surviving members of the rock band Led Zeppelin and ballerina Natalia Makarova. The award is the nation’s highest honor for those who have influenced American culture through the arts. It comes with a dinner with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and a reception hosted by President Barack Obama. The honorees will be saluted by fellow artists Dec. 2 in a show to be broadcast Dec. 26 on CBS."
Also, Quartet is getting great reviews! Here's an article talking about his directing debut.
